Is it possible to go from black to white hair?

I really really want Blonde hair. Well, more of a White/Blonde colour.
Currently, my hair has been dyed with Nice and Easy semi-perminant Black hair dye, and I've washed it for double the suggested washes before it fades out, and it has only faded a...

I dyed it quite a while ago so this is getting quite a problem because I'm bored with my hair and I want it White Blonde without damaging it, stripping it, or going to a salon.
I'm very scared it will go yellow, as a friend dyed from bpermanant/b black to blonde and she turned an orangey yellow.
Is it possible to dye from Black to White?
I'm worried. Please help.
Tell me what store brand hair dye I can get from a shop such as Superdrug or Boots please!!

you should bleach your hair then die it

well i d begin dying it with like a lighter shade such as a red tone or brown and then whenit gets lighter begin add in dramatic blonde highlights and then wait 2weeks then do it a gain then repeat and then buy this stuff called fanci'full and put it in ure hair like after you wash it and it make s it like really blonde i know this because my hair is bleach blonde and it looks really healthy an undamged!

Well, I have tried it before and it doesnt work! Ive already been to about 3 different hair salons and as long as youve used do it yourself hair dye if wont work. It has these things called metallics in it and when you redye it with blonde it just doesnt mix. You could try redying it blonde over and over again but that would probably just dry your hair out and you probably dont want that. So i would suggust getting a malibu... its a really strong formula that washes out color... you can get it done at a salon. Try that for about 2 weeks and then try dying your hair blonde.

ok just to let you know ones you go black your black because color dont left color so if your trying to go back blonde. the only way for you to do that is to heavy hilight all over with out dyring your hair out. now if you want to do all in one bleaching your best bet is that its going to turn yellow. the hair pigment goes through different stages of color as it lightens. the amount of change depends on how much pigment the hair has and the length of time the lightening product is processed. you should go to a hair salon thats near you. just to let you now that its going to cast you but they get it done right. if anymore questin go to my emile Fun mail me goood luck

It is possible, but you won't acheive it at home. You'll have to pay to get it done right, but you won't go through the horror of trial and definate error. Pick a reputable salon or ask a friend with good hair who she uses.

If you want a white - blonde hair rather than blonde with yellow tint, then I suggest that you use
Manic Panic virgin white Toner.
this works on the hair that are already breached.
so wait until your hair goes back to your natural colour, then bleach it with 40 degree peroxide, and apply this toner, it will make your hair go white - blonde, or completely white if your hair is light.
