Black nail polish is it okay?

I really like black nail polish but everytime my parents hear about it, dey tell me that its evil what kind of trend am I following. I like clear nail polish 2 but shud I use more brighter colours listen 2 my parents?

Black is good with whatever yooh wear...but bright colors are prettyy rad too...I got a reallyy bright pink a bright yellow...the problem is they only go with certain things.

As long as you live with your parents, their rules are the rules you should try to follow, no matter how lame the rules are. I think black nail polish is fine, but I'm not your mother. lol Try explaining to them that it's a popular nail polish color and doesn't have the 'evil' connotation it did years ago. Besides, how can a shade of nail polish be evil?

Well I do black a lot and I love it! I also do a lot of BRIGHT colors too! So do watever you think is best!

I agree, I told dem all the celebs were wearing it but my dumb a** stepfather told me 2 b a leader, you know what f*** that I'm gonna wear my black sh** , it's just nail polish.

No. Don't use brighter colors just because your parents are telling you black nail polish is evil. To tell you the truth, when I want my nails done, I use colors on that day that express what I'm feeling like red for love or Black for depression or just for the look of it. Purple because its my favorie. you're not following any trend. You make your own trend and style, don't go off things your parents say. Just because they want you to stay their little girl forever doesn't necassarily mean you have too. Everyone grows up, old and eventually parishes.\
