Birthday yesterday felt like another regular day

Well yesterday was my 18th birthday but it was unlike any other year before usually I used to be all happy and excited when my birthday was comming up, but now its like just a regular day for me, my family celebrated my b-day took me to my fav...

restaurant and gave me presents it was nice, but I didnt feel like omg its my birthday it was just like going through another day like every week...why do you think that is??

be thankful. when it comes to your fortieth you will be begging for it to feel like a normal day rather than the beginning of the end

I feel the same way with things like christmas and my birthday and other hollidays

quite simply its because a birthday is just another day of the week, nothing special happens on that day it is simply celebrating something that happened to you and your mum however many years ago that day and so there's no real reason why you would feel any different about it

the reason you feel different when your younger is normally because its a day you look forward to because everyone makes a fuss of you/gives you preasents etc...

however as you grow up you can buy the things you want for yourself and so the preasents become less exciting and also you just grow up and realise that it is just nother day in just another week in just another month

Probably because the older you get, the more it doesn't seem that important. It wasn't that way for me and my sister on our 18th. we got new freedoms so we wanted to try them out. But normally like our other bdays are like that, just blah. And christmas has been kinda blah for me for the past 2 years. Just seemed like any other day. So I guess it's normal.

I stoped haveing gift'smostley, and was takeing care of myself other than a place to stay and some food at about 6 year's old, so the what I see it love it way you got it, as you get out on your own the only way you get gifts is if you have a lot of pal's and as the year go by, you will find them passing faster and faster, that's way the world is the way it is to day, so don't pass eney good thang that come's your way o.k.
