Do you lose weight if you stop taking birth control?

I have heard when you take birth control pills you gain weight, and its harder to lose weight on BC pills. When you stop taking Birth control do you lose weight?

First of all, that is a side effect that only some experience. I'm taking Yasmin and I haven't gained any weight, nor do I find it hard to lose weight. I know some who gained weight with Diane though. Everyone has a different experience, you just have to try and see.

Most of the birth controls that are now have a lower dose of estrogen then they used to ..with the newer bc pills like yasmin or ortho cyclin lo dose there is rarely any weight gain at all,besides id rather gain 3 lbs from bc then gain 25-40 from getting pregnant.
