I think you can go to a family planning clinic. They have them in australia but I dont know about where you are. Thay should be able to organise something there for you without your parents knowing. I dont know if there is an age requirement or not. Sorry I wasnt much help.

I'm pretty sure you can get some at planned parenthood. look it up to see if there is a planned parenthood clinic in your area.

In the United States you cannot buy birth control pills over the counter. They require a prescription. Each state has different laws on the ages of females taking BC. The County Health Dept or Planned Parent center in your area should be able to advise you.

Nope, you can only get the morning after pill, but you need to be 18. Like everyone's said, go to a planned parenthood, they're not generally expensive and wont tell your parents.

Also remember the only thing that prevents STDs is the condom. Use them, unless you're both virgins and you are both in a monogamous commited relationship (actually use them even if you are, people slip up and mess up, and you dont want to ruin your life because of their mistake...)

Naw it's doctor perscribed. I would get the shot tho you wont have to remember to take a pill and it lasts for three months.

No you cannot purchase birth control over the counter. (you can get some of the lower dose pills on the internet... for an outrageous price.)
You must have a prescription, even if you get them through a clinic... they have your prescription on file.

hey thanks for all the tips oh and I live in los angles, california oh yeah there a shot that you have to take once every 3 months where can I seek that ?is there any side effects?

Side effects of the shot are weight gain, acne, mood swings, etc. Plus having to get yourself regular again once you quit taking it. Of all the people that I know of that have taken then shot, none of them have been happy with it. My daughter took one shot and gained 20 pounds without changing her eating habits in any way.

The shot has to be gotten from a doctor or a clinic also.
