Does anyone know anything bout bipolar disorder?

hey does any one anything bout bipolar disorder? the symptons apart from going from big ups to extreme lows? does any body have that and tel me ways they deal with it? im a not drug kinda guy, I've just goten thru a long depression without drugs or a shrink and I think I may have a few side affects such as bipolar. im not quite sure, and I askd a friend and she askd if I have an obsession with collectin a few things as thats somtimes a symptom. but altho im a colletor its not cause of any other reason as thats the way I've always been. does any one have any advice? my mums a nurse but she barely new about my depression and I dont want to go to a doc as if I have it theyll giv me meds and I've got a friend who takes em and shes not alowed to drive cause of side affects. and driving is one of my main freedoms.

Okay pretty much what bi polar is cause my mom has it and one minute she'll be a complete bltch then she'll be really nice like 2 mins later...and she forget easy like I will start argueing with her and she'll get mad then like 5 mins later I'll be like can you take me to the store and she'll be like okay! like we never argued so pretty much in her way thats bi polar.

Someone very close to me is Bipolar. There is two types of Bipolar- Bipolar I and Bipolar II, the difference between them is the episodes and how one reacts to the disease.

I have watched the person I know, on drugs, off drugs, and on drugs that do not work.. There are so many optional drugs.. The person I know can still drive while on drugs. So it is possible to be on drugs and still drive.

I think that the medicine for Bipolar.. is wonderful. It helps so many suffering have a normal life. You have to understand that having that disease affects your loved ones dramatically- There is nothing wrong with the MEDS

The disease is not all about UPS and DOWNS.. its also about phases. Many go through different phases of things they like to do... or things they think and believe. People suffering from Bipolar tend to think that they are incredibly smart.. and different than anyone- they have a strong sexual drive, and can change moods in a sec. They are also sometimes classified as manic depressive.

Drugs are a good choice.. and the best thing for you to do would be see a doctor and get diagnosed. Get the help.
