Best present for a 17 year old boy

What is a great cheap gift for a guy that is 17 years old. I guess hes the type of quiet almost emo looking type guy, he wears skinnys, band t-shirts, hats and has those streched out ear piercings for an idea for how he looks. He also likes screamo music...

but I dont want to get him a c.d because I dont really like his music any ideas? pleasse

well an ipod would be the best but its not the cheapest.
Maybe get him a choice over a concert ticket. those are always great. and since he supports the music by his shirts he would appreciate it. just find out whats in his interest.

Get him a poster of a band he likes or maybe a hot topic gift card, or find out if there are any movies he loved as a kid (like the goonies).
