I am looking to buy a laptop and wanted to know which one is worth its price. Toshiba, HP, Dell or any others.

These laptops got the best reviews and won awards besides: Dell Inspiron XPS M1710, HP Pavilion dv9000t, Lenovo ThinkPad X60s.

Higher end Dells are nice in terms of hardware, but they come loaded with crap software.

personally... I dont like dells, hp, or macs, if I were you I would go with an Emachine or alienware
