when you buy an ipod you get a program called itunes which you upload onto your computer. from there you just put your cd's in and upload them onto the computer and put them onto your ipod. so putting them on your ipod doesn't cost anything. if you dont have a lot of music then a 4 gb nano should do you just fine. it has room for around 1000 songs. go to the apple website for prices.. in short, ipods are just walkmans or cd players but with no cds or tapes.
Ok well I have an ipod touch and it is pretty amazing...
its reaallyy easy to use and now you dont even need headphones for it you can check your email on it and surf the web too.
There is gamesyou can get on it for free and games you can buy.
I got mine for about 350$
but now they're 200$something.
