Best car for me?

I love driving, and have a beat up old toyota corolla. Is there any secret to picking out the best car for me, or should I just find one that's newer, and not so old? Did you buy your car based on reliability or how it fit your personality?

I'm curious b/c I've only bought used cars before, and am considering buying a new one, just so I can get one that's more 'me'. Trouble is, I'm not sure how I should pick the best car for me. Any advice?

I have never bought a new car, mostly based on price. You can purchese a leased 1 year old car, that has some mileage on it, but it generally costs a lot less then a brand new car. Likewise you should buy something you want. I mean if you REALLY want an SUV or a pickup truck think about the cost of gas, but think if you'd really like to be driving it over the itme you're making your payments as opposed to a civic or a neon or something

if ya want a ute the toyota hilux is a really good 1. very reliable
