How old to enroll in a belly dancing class?

how old do you think you should be to enroll in a belly dancing class? bellydancing runs in my family (ever heard of princess farhana? she's my aunt.) well anyway I want to take classes but I'm not sure if my mom think's I'm old enough. so I just need a parent's point of view on this. thanks bye!!

Im not a mom but I think you have to be at least 17 or 18

If it runs in your family then I don't see why you just don't ask one of them how old you have to be. And if it runs in the family I'm sure your mom wont have a problem with you starting... but, then again I'm not sure how old you are because I haven't looked at your profile.
