how bad does getting your belly button peirced hurt? my friend is wanting to do it with a long sewing needle.

well I suggest she get it done proffesionally ... it doesn't hurt and its safer to get it done proffesionally like that infection won't be a concern ...

do it professionally, it's one of the most dangerous areas to pierce! it's only $25 good god, wouldn't you rather be SAFE than catch some infection.

do not ever pierce yourself or ever pierce another person or allow another person to pierce themself unless you or they are a professional piercer. not only can it cause infection but you can cause some serious scar tissue that is so bad you are never able to get it redone the right way, by a professional.

if its PROFESIONALLY done, not much depending on your pain tolerance
if its some inexpirienced idiot (your friend) doing it with something stupid like a sewing needle, a lot
and shell also risk infection, longer healing time and getting it crooked, making it look horrible
if you cant afford 50 bucks to get it profesionally done,
your not ready and dont need a peircing AT ALL
save up some cash and get it done profesionally
your body will thank you
and so will yourself when you and everyone else is looking at a straight clean peircing
instead of an infected crooked diy job that looks like someone randomly stabbed a hole in you
a sewing needle is also NOT something you should peirce anything with, because its too small
no real profesional jewelrey can fit through it

my mom did mine at home with a sewing needle (my mom almost fainted) but it didnt hurt

I think you should get it done and not do it yourself. Mine costed $40 and it looks fine. Plus it was not very painful and was quick. If she does it herself, she might hesitate and prolong the pain. Plus an infection is veryyy likely if she does it herself.
