I read a verse, and then study the words carefully.

like for example if I was reading a whole chapter, not book, but chapter, I would write down the verse. and then write notes about it. about what it means to me. then I would eventually share it with another believer who does the same to see if we get some points across into our minds.

he/she might understand something I didnt, vise versa.

it works a lot. because we tend to skim through the bible and not really pay attention to the main point, writing down your thoughts helps your see the bigger picture.

then, once your done with the chapter, read everything, the verses and then your notes.

trust me, if you try like if your going to be tested on it, like at school, you will learn a lot.

sharing your thoughts is important to, dont forget that.

There's a great guy named Ray Vander laan. he does a class called Follow the Rabbi. he is a Christian who studied the Christian faith from a Jewish perspective. Jeasus was a Jew after allhappy so all the ways he taught, all the stories he told, we miss so much because we don't understand the culture of the time. The bible is a powerful book. but listening to him you realize that there's so much morehappy he sells tapes. I highly recommend themhappy
