Becoming a better hip-hop dancer?

Asked by funyall over 3 years ago, 3 answers.

I want to become a better hip-hop dancer. Should I take jazz dance lessons or pop-and-lock or another type of contemporary dance? Will it actually make me a better hip-hop dancer?

I think jazz would help. It's a little bit more formal but it will at least give you a bit of foundation. Alot of dance studios have hip hop classes every once in a while too.
