Breast is tight around the middle

Ok this is just an update of my 'breast problem' - the boob that is sorta tighter than the other around the middle *when I say 'middle' I mean kinda close to the nipple area* is a little sore too... and it feels like there's something hard on the inside. But I don't see any difference on the outside *like nothing is different from the eye's point of view*. Is this still from it growing maybe a little faster? Also - the left one feels like there is something similar to the right one, only it doesn't feel 'hard' and doen't hurt. So is this ok or is it something serious like breast cancer or something? I'm actually kinda worried... because I don't want it being anything serious so any help would be apperciated =/

If you feel something hard, kind of like a hard lump or pebble, it could be a cyst. Your best bet it to go to the gyno and have them check it out. They'll decided whether or not it's something worth looking into. They might tell you to keep an eye on it and keep feeling it to see if it's getting bigger.

ok... thanks, and I just though of something - could it be a sign that my period is coming? Because I haven't had a period yet this month and didn't have one last month...
and it doesn't hurt unless that area is touched, then it's a little sore. And when I say 'hard' it's not like rock hard... but it feels different.
Would it have anything to do with the fact that I sleep on that side?

urg...I had the same thing. its your 'milk' duct developing. nothing to worry about, but if your still worried see a doctor

omg! I'm SO glad to hear that nashlyk!!! lol it really is a big relief. After I thought about it I was like wait... I wonder if it's that milk thing developing... but I didn't know for sure lol

yes as nashlyk has said, I believe it's your milk gland thing developing so I don't think it's anything serious... but if you have any othe problems or are worried still, go ahead and speak with your doctor
