What should i wear to basketball tryouts?

Okay, so its my first time trying out for a basketball team. I don't know what to wear. Would it be ok to wear like some shorts and converse?

yeah something comfortable and easy to run in would probably be the easiest and the best

converse shoes as in like not basketball shoes?
But wear long shorts or boy shorts, a t-shirt and some basketball shoes like nikes/and1's ect.
