How do I take my life on the road?
I really want a lot more adventure in my life, but there's no way I want to join the army or any of those things, so trying to convine me in your answer will be wasting your time. I just graduated from high school,...

and I keep thinking What's my place in the world? And whatever that is, I know this ain't it. I'm bored with society, and thought I'd escape it, and maybe meet some friends along the way. Which is where we come to the question: It dosen't sound that simple. I need some help with that, but I doubt anyone around here has the answers. Could someone give me some advice?

Map out a trip. Where do you want to go? What do you want to see? Sounds like you need a cross-country trip to me. Figure out main locations in each state that you want to visit, and give yourself an extra day or two for the unexpected adventure/sight seeing. When you are in a new place ask locals for interesting places to go. Do you have any online friends that you feel comfortable and safe with? Perhaps you could visit online friends across the country.

Look into studying abroad, if you're interested in continuing your education. There are countless wonderful foreign exchange student programs.
