What to do when I got a bad grade for the first time?

I've never gotten less than an A in school, either have my siblings, but today I got a C in history. what should I tell them cause I no they'll be really angery, and if I tell my sibs then they'll tease me and then rat on me. I'm 14 and my sibs are 15,16,17,17. HELP!!

It's not the end of the world.

Everyone has to fail at one point or another. Trust me, it's better to get your first bad grade now... when you're still fourteen.

ask if you can retake the test!! or if there is any way you can get extra credit

Don't let it get to you! (I have an older sister who was a straight A student in school. One time she actually got a D on a test and she was impossible to live with. Even worse, she still mourns about that danged D to this very day...and she is SIXTY years old! Eek!)

As for your C, I don't think it's a big deal. Your prior grades speak for themselves and you just had a lousy day, and unless your sibs have perfect grades themselves, they really have no room to talk.

I know how youre feeling. I have been getting straight A's for a while. Then I hit a rough patch. I learned that everyone has to realize sooner or later that they cant always make good grades. Just know that you arn't alone. I suggest you try to study every time you feel like you cant pass a test. I hope you have better grades. Good luck!
