Background for profile page

Can you please help me?I am trying to put a background on my profile. Everytime I try to upload any picture, it only comes up on part of my screen. The background picture will not cover the whole page. What am I doing wrong? How can I upload a picture...

and have it cover the whole screen instead of part of it? If you go to my profile, you will see what I mean. Any help you can give me in order to fix this, I would truly appreciate! Thanks!

You need to make the picture larger.

Use an image editor and resize it to about 1024 x 768 (roughly a desktop wallpaper size), then it will fit the whole page.
