Average american weight?

It is said that a large percentage of Americans are obese. Does anyone know what the average weight is for women and men in America?

Well, it depends on your height. There is this thing called your Body Mass Index and there's some way to calculate it, but I don't remember. It depends on what your BMI is according to your height and weight. Or you can find out the percent of bady fat. About 15 to 20% is normal, but it can be 12 to 23% and you're still in an average weight group.

Hey thank you for your comments...Yeah I have done the BMI before...I was just curious as to what the average was in america compared to other countries...It would be interesting to compare.
