Asperger's syndrome

Asked by daugenstine 7 months ago, 6 answers.

Does anybody on here have Asperger's Syndrome? I'm curious to know. I myself have been diagnosed for the past 11 years. Don't be afraid, I don't bite.

It's supposed to be similar to autism but much milder. I understand you are less talkative as a child there is a tendency of slowed speech development. Maybe you can tell us your symptoms. I am currently trying to help a friend who's child can't be diagnosed with autism. I think it's Aspberger's. Daugenstine please describe this condition more in depth.
Thanks happy

Asperger's syndrome or AS is within the Autism Spectrum Disorder, only in the milder form. Sometimes, the symptoms of AS and HFA (High Functioning Autism) overlaps, only that in AS, no significant language delay are noted those who have the disorder.

I excelled in english, but hated math, therefore I became pre-occupied with english.
I didn't make friends easily and would rather be on my own or in a one - on - one situation with people. If someone else came into the conversation I found it hard to include this second person.

When talking to new people I wouldn't look them in the eye.

I hated loud noises

I had inappropriate' reactions to things, people
