Are you a person that always uses "like" in whatever you say?

My parents get really annoyed because whatever I say I usually have the word like
I really wanna stop but it's like -- oops an addiction!

I KNOW I DO IT AND IT BUGS ME SOO MUCH because THEN THERE LIKE LIKE OR SAID? SOOO ANNOYING

Lol I was just talking about it to someone the other day.. I do it all the time. Not really through typing, but I say 'like' like every other word when I'm talking lol.

When I type or text I say 'lol' or 'haha' like crazy. haha

Maybe try talking slower so you think about the words you are about to say before you say them

I used to do it all the time!!! And people were always telling me that I did it, but I didn't even notice I was... haha I did it without thinking =D

I don't do it anymore though... I don't think I do anywayyy

I have the same problem, like (dammit) when I'm talking to ma mates about something I always include the word 'like' in every sentence, like I'd be talking about my dog then suddenly my friend would slap me, 'STOP SAYING LIKE!!!' she would say! The slaps are becoming as pain the butt.
So I know how you feel!

ye,, you have to put an elastic band round your wrist an evry time yu catch yourself saying 'like' just twang it on your wrist so it just hurts a lil bit thn you will subconciesly relate saying 'like' to the pain,, so you will automatically stop saying it!! hope it works,,

I had the same problem.

Just stop yourself when you do it, and start what you were saying over.
Part of it is just... growing out of it.
