Are women really smarter and more mature?

You hear it a lot, that females mature faster than guys, and women often pride themselves on being the smarter, or at least wiser, gender.

attraction to the bad boy. Look how many females say they are attracted to bad boys. Even though it's universally known that bad boys are not suitable long term mates, and that they put women through enormous grief, many women still prefer the challenge and thrill of dating a bad boy. This is a sign of immaturity, of inability to separate hormones from good judgment. It's not a sign of maturity.

So I challenge the standing view that women are more mature. I think women simply mature in different ways, but just as slowly as guys. We also have our share of crazy, ridiculous behavior. Thoughts?

I think woman mature faster than men - there are different perspectives though.

women go through puberty before men so yes they do mature faster and in school they care more about grades so I guess they are smarter
