They are not the same. Christians and Jews worship a different version of the same religion, muslims follow a totally different religion, when they became different I have no idea, but since we all come from the same Adam and Eve, and the Same god, personally I'd say that islam is a false religion made up by a fanatic back a long time ago who wanted to be different.

All three are monotheistic...
All three can be traced back to Abraham...
All three fight over the same holy city...
All three think they're the ONLY right religion...
All three share similar principles...
All three share similar bloody histories...
All three can't seem to prove a damn thing...

Also their stories are the same than stories around the Mediterranean for at least a thousand years before Jesus:

Krishna in India – Born from a virgin, were a carpenter, baptised in a river!

Persian god Mithra – 600 years before Jesus – born December 25th, performed miracles, resurrection the 3rd day also known as the messiah.

1280 Bc the Egyptian Book of the Dead describes a god, Horus
Horus is the son of the god Osiris
Born to a virgin mother
He was baptized in a river by Anup the Baptizer…who was later beheaded
Like Jesus, Horus was tempted while alone in the desert
Healed the sick …..the blind …..cast out demons ….and walked on water
He raised Asar from the dead
“Asar” translates to “Lazarus”
AND yeah, he also had 12 disciples!
Yes, Horus was crucified first….
and after 3 days, 2 women announced… Horus, the saviour of humanity had been resurrected!

No price for guessing where current religions got their gods from!

So yeah they are the same, because they were built on the same history which wasn’t even their own imaginary story!

***but allah is arabian moon god for muslims.***

Muslims believe in the One Unique, Merciful God, the Sole Creator and Sustainer of the Universe and they call him by His revealed name: Allah.
In Arabic, Allah means the one true God worthy of all submission and devotion (worship).
Even the Jewish and Christian Arabs refer to God as Allah.

Jews and Christians believe in the same YHWH or God. Christians, however, have changed the name of God to Jehovah (I know, it is the translation of YHWH into aramaic, but what is your name in another language? Is it not still the same? Mine is!). But, the characteristics of God are (basically) the same in both circles.

Where there is a concern is with the Muslim. Is Allah YHWH? Since the characteristic and character of Allah is different from YHWH, I say they are not the same God. Allah is a god and YHWH is God. Although Allah is similar in most respects to YHWH of Judaism, there are significant differences. I believe, therefore, that Allah is not YHWH.

Jehovah is God's name

Allah = God
(A title, not a name)

Some do not like to use the name Jehovah because they claim...

1) It doesn't translate well from Hebrew into English.
Response: If this is the case then why don't people call Jesus man? God has a name and likes to be called by that name.

Proof:
Psalm 34:3 - O magnify Jehovah with me, you people, and let us exalt his name together.

If you were to replace Jehovah with Lord or God would that scripture make sense? Especially the part where it says exalt his name together? Remember that God and Lord are not names.

2) Its too holy to even say.
Response: If it was then why does the original Hebrew text mention God's name Jehovah over 7,000 times.

Note: some Bible's have replaced the name Jehovah with Lord or God which are not names but titles.

Since there is no j in hebrew, Jehovah is never mentioned in the old testament.

Hello people...jews DON'T believe in or follow christ...so jews and christians DO NOT believe in the same g-d.

and captain...I take exception to part of your answer...jews don't think their religion is the only right religion. they don't try to convert others (it is against our teachings) and they don't give a crap what religions others follow. The bloody battles are usually from resulting persecution or land quest. But as for christians or muslims...we could care. just as long as they leave us alone. we do not insist that anyone convert..in fact the rabbi will turn down a person three times who is trying to convert...
we don't need the business...

just a note to donein...
'personally I'd say that islam is a false religion made up by a fanatic back a long time ago who wanted to be different.'

oh sure...there is no chance that the christian religion was made up...or the jewish one either.
Get your head out of the sand...they ALL sound made up...

Jehovah is Jupiter

Jesus is the Sun... this is why we associate him with one version of the solar wheel... the cross... it precedes Christianity. Halos are placed around versions of the Sun God as well.

Mithra
Attis
Indra
Krishna
Buddha
Andrew
Baldur
Chu Chulainn
Dionysus
Tammuz

All are Indo-European or Sumerian versions of the Sun God... all represented by a returning deity... all symbolized by differing iterations of the solar wheel. This doesn't speak to the legitimacy of the idea behind Jesus... it does suggest that his story... along with a large portion of biblical accounts... was adopted from older stories.

**Allah** is the English spelling of the modern Arabic interpretation of **Al ilah**... **The God** similar to the Hebraic word for God... **Eloah**

Allah would be interpreted as Jupiter as well.

Myself I refuse to believe for one minute that God and Allah are the same, or any other go dis the same, if they were then why does the each holy book differ from each other?
if Allah preaches so much about peace, then why does every muslim try to kill Americans, or anybody else thats not a muslim?

First of all EVERY muslim does not try to kill americans...
muslim extremists have tried to kill americans...

the same can be said about christian extremists bombing abortion clinics and killing doctors...

Perhaps your time would be better served by researching something instead of just spreading lies.

*** Myself I refuse to believe for one minute that God and Allah are the same,***

Allah is simply the Arabic word for God (Allah means the true One God).

***why don't you show me a muslim that wouldn't like to see me dead just because I'm not muslim.***

I’m a Muslim, I never killed anyone and I never thought of that.
God said: “There is no compulsion in religion. True guidance has become clearly distinct from error” Quran (2, 256)
God also said: “So remind them! You are only a reminder. You are not in control of them” Quran (88, 21-22)

***if Allah preaches so much about peace, then why does every muslim try to kill Americans, or anybody else thats not a muslim?***

This is the biggest misconception about Islam…
Islam is the religion of mercy, justice and humanity.

Killing a person for no reason is one of the greatest sins related in the Quran:

(... if someone kills another person – unless it is in retaliation for someone else or for causing corruption in the earth – it is as if he had murdered all mankind. And if anyone gives life to another person, it is as if he had given life to all mankind. Our Messengers came to them with Clear Signs, but even after that many of them committed outrages in the earth) Quran (5, 32)

God informs us that killing even a single person is as evil as murdering all mankind on earth.

But like Christianity, Islam permits fighting in self-defense:

(Permission to fight is given to those who are fought against because they have been wronged – truly God has the power to come to their support – those who were expelled from their homes without any right, merely for saying, “Our Lord is God”…) Quran (22, 39-40)

(Fight in the Way of God against those who fight you, but do not go beyond the limits. God does not love those who go beyond the limits). Quran (2, 190)

The messenger of God also clarified the attitude Muslims must adopt even when they are in the middle of a battle: “Do not kill children. Avoid touching people who devote themselves to worship in churches. Never murder women and the elderly. Do not set trees on fire or cut them down. Never destroy houses”

In brief, organizing acts of terror against innocent people is utterly against Islam and it is unlikely that any Muslim could ever commit such crime.
