Are helicopter seeds bad for you?

Are they?
The ones that fall from the trees.
Cause I had about 25 and feel sick lol.
My eyes are bloodshot and glossy.
Is it because of them? (no im not high)

Well, I don't know the answer, but my guess would be that they might have some kind of chemical in them that's not good for you, because a lot of plants are like this. But chances are you won't die from it lol.

I guess , you would probably be allright- I looked up the helicopter seeds. the silver maple has long thin helicopter seeds- and it didn't mention anything about being toxic.
boxelder has short helicopter seeds- nothing mentioned about being toxic there either.
red maple has short reddish helicopter seeds- nothing mentioned about any toxic effects on that one as well.

so I would think you will be ok.
NEXT QUESTION- how the heck did you manage to eat 25 of them? I ate a couple of them when I was younger- and they were so bitter that I couldn't eat anymore, and spit them out.

you should be ok. I would drink lots of water to maybe dilute anything bad going on- and some pepto or tums might help too.
so I believe that helicopter seeds should not be eaten, but you should recover.

so far I havent found anything that says there toxic or poisonouse
so they should be ok
but eat small amounts of them
them moniter how you feel
if you feel fine then they should be ok

Why on earth would anyone chose to eat these in the first place???
