yeah I would say so.. my daughter is 4 .. turned 4 last month and we spoil her rotten hehe so werent many toys she wanted so we sp[ent a lot on coloured pens, coloured papers, stickers, pencils, paints etc... she loves it! I think a lot of four yr olds do.. just make sure he doesnt make too much of a mess..our bad buy was pots of glitter..the whole house looks like a christmas decoration! But yeah art stuff is always a good buy, but dont go for expensive adult stuff, the kids supplies are great, hardwaring an fun for him. I'm sure he'll like it!
well I would go to a store and see what he does when you go past the toys looking around my cousin and I would go to wal-mart with my mom and we would go to the toy asile to see what he might like so we would look and he would say cat I like that thats so cool

Are art supplies a good gift to get for a four year old's birthday?

How do I know what to get my grandson for his next birthday? He's turning
four in May, and I'd like to make sure I get him the right kind of gift
for his birthday. His dad (my son) says he likes to play games, read, and
already has tons of toys. Do I get him art supplies?
