What are some good shoes to run in?

Hmm I just wore my regular shoes when I ran cross country. Didn't think of anything else. A google search said any running shoes are fine for most people, but some people wear spiked shoes during races.

I like adidas running shoes, they also last very long.

Go to a place that specializes in sports equipment and get fitted for your feet and your running style. They should be able to advise you there.

Running shoes are better for your joints and I found that I had a lot less muscle soreness after buying proper shoes.
