Yup. That's what I do.

It helps with search engine results and keeping the question titles clear and spelled correctly. If the title, for example, was kept as "Is this a good idea?" someone would have to search for "good" or "idea" to see it come up on Google...if the title is changed to be more specific, there is a higher chance that other people having the same problem/question will be able to find yours, and get answers faster and better.

Many times, the question titles are "OMG wtf do I do?" or "why doez mai boy do dis?" or simply "HELP!". This isn't very helpful with search engine results, and doesn't tell anyone what the question is really about.

Hope that helps.

>>>what if they dont want anyone but the people on fun advice to see?

All questions are public Your personal information isn't public though, and we discourage people from posting personal info publicly.

>>>it's so annoying...

Well, the site wouldn't work, and YOU wouldn't have found it if we didn't edit question titles for spelling & content...and our site search wouldn't work, and our related questions wouldn't work, our auto categorization tool wouldn't work...etc, etc...there are about a dozen large pieces of technology that would be busted, if we didn't edit them.

And, we also have software that auto corrects for 50+ spelling & shorthand issues, which we expand weekly.
