Anyone have good cheats for link's crossbow training on wii?

My boyfriend and I are very competitive and he's been kicking my BUTT in Link's Crossbow Training for Wii.

Any hints/tricks? I know to hit the scarecrows 8 times for 1000 points, but that's it.

I don't have the game, but someone says to hit the scarecrows in the chest 10 times and once in the head and it supposedly gives you 3,000 points.
