Any tips on potty training?? Help please!

Okay I watch my sister live everyday other than the except the weekends. My mom works a lot soo thats why. Im like her second mom lol. But shes already going to be 3 in november and I am trying to potty train her but shes scared to like use the restroom in the potty. it gets me frustrated. any tips on how to potty train her, and is people tell me to make her sit there even if shes crying…is that okay? like everybody says shes too old to be in diapers, and if shes going to be 3 then yeah guess she is lol. but can any mothers or people who have trained toddlers give me anytips??

Have you taken her to the toilet when you have to go to show her that nothing is gonna happen. I guarantee you she’s afraid she’ll fall in and disappear. My son would not sit on the toilet for a long time unless I held his hands so he wouldn’t fall in. Also, they have these seats that sits on the lid for toddlers try that and reward her. Making her sit there is just gonna make her rebel even more. Try putting cherrios in the water and tell her to try to move the cherrios around by peeing on them. Make it a game and reward her if she does it. It helped my son aim and not be scared to use the bathroom.
