Any ideas for wedding favors?

Do you have any good ideas for fun, different, and/or interesting wedding favors? I'm helping a friend plan her wedding. We aren't opposed to making things either!

some cute ideas I have seen are cookie cutters with a little not attached with ribbon saying thank you for attending.

I have seen little hand soaps (you can get molds for these at a local craft store) wrapped in sheer tied with a ribbon. You can also order persoanlized ribbon online.

You can also put some lavender wedding rice inside a little container of sorts with a cute little note as a favor to leave on the tables. It smells lovely and is tossed at the bride and groom while leaving. It is also unharmful to the birds. Some guests may chose to keep it and place it in a drawer for the sent. You can find lavender wedding rice online...just put it into yahoo and you should be able to find someone selling it in bulk.

How about a container with flower seeds and attach a little note about love growing etc.
