In the novel all quiet on the Western front, how do soldiers cope with the atrocities of war?

Hm, It seems nobody has read this book that participates in the site sad Sorry.

I read a short summary of the plot characters, it seems like the soldiers in the book get depressed, and refer to themselves more or less as living dead, and see no point in the war, the constant struggle, the hardship to find food, etc.

Were you looking for a plot summary or something? If so, you might try cliff notes, etc. From the summary I briefly read, it doesn't sound like a very fun book.

Are you trying to get us to do your homework for you? :P

I have not read the book. If you want to tell us a bit about it, we might be able to brainstorm with you a bit though.
