Abortion is legal in Canada and the only one that has the right to choose if you want an abortion or not, is YOU (if you are the woman). Abortions in Canada are provided on demand and funded by Medicare (as with most medical procedures) in hospitals across the country. One-third of hospitals perform abortions, and these perform two-thirds of abortions in the country. The remaining abortions are performed by public and private-for-profit clinics. For more information you should contact the hospital closest to you or if you are willing to pay you should contact the abortion clinic closest to you. You will have to talk to a doctor and maybe even a social worker. If you are in your first months of pregnancy there are no legal restrictions to you getting an abortion but if you have come almost to term then there is no possibility of getting an abortion. Abortions are a medical procedure and as in all medical procedures there are risks of complications and pain. That being said, Abortions in Canada are extremely safe and risks of complications low. Abortions do cause pain and bleeding and are usualy done with drugs that help reduce the pain. Obviously there are other options available such as adoption but this is a decision that only you can take and I advise you to talk about to a social worker, psychologist or any close good friend before taking your decision. It is important to have emotional support whetehr you go through with it or not.
state? arent you from Canada? Well it depends where you live. For the most part it doesnt affect you that much. some places you need parents some places you don't it depends. It does hurt, im not gonna lie it hurts a lot. But so does having a baby so no matter what getting a baby out is going to hurt.
WHOA WHOA WHOA!!! do not get an abortion. adoption is the best choice. people get on waiting lists for years just to adopt, and you can even go through and pick what family you want the baby to go to. talk this over with your family. trust me, the emotional scars are enough to kill you...
Killing a baby should hurt, that shows that Canadians are retarded loosers and will never be a real country if you keep killing your population before they have a chance to be borne
