We started a fire...help?

So me and my friends did something wrong, not too wrong though, we went up to a school and kind of started a fire that got outta control, and now we have to avoid the police cause my friend thinks someone saw us doing it. What should we do??? We were...

Yea your looking at felony arson...especialy if you burnt something on school campus...and you gotta pay for the firemen and the fire marshal.

I am not going to address the immaturity of your message or scold you (not that you don't deserve it) I am simply going to address your question - what should you.

You should report yourselves and apologize profusely. You will get in FAR less trouble than if you make the cops find out who it was, and they WILL find out it was you. Especially if someone saw you, as you suspect. If you can be mature and step up and say you were wrong and it was stupid you will get off way better than if you try to hide it like a child.

It would be much better of you went to the Police Station and owned up now. Whatever will happen will happen the same now, or in the future. Don't you think it would be much better to get it over with now than go to bed tonight unable to sleep worrying if the first person to knock on your door tomorrow will a Police Officer.
