Can he go to jail if we have sex?

ok in south carolina im not sure what the age is for sex. but could my boyfriend
go too jail if im underage & he is 17 ? or does it depend on my mom's choice ?
I've heard as long as nobody press charges than he can't go too jail. but if they
do then he can. or does it depend by the state ? can they take him too jail ?

my mom's boyfriend ; he don't like me or my boyfriend ; cause my boyfriend sleeps here every
weeknd & we have got caught having sex one time. but he said that its not up
too them its up too the state. but I don't think thats true because he is just saying
that too scare us. & he lies off the bat. like he has gotten me kicked out of my
own house from lieing. but yeah please help me.

it depends on the state... here in oklahoma.. anyone 18 or older can't have sex with minors.

uhhh...in NYC which is the state I'm from, if the person is 18 and is intimately involved with someone under the age of 18 then the 18 year old can get arrested for sagitery (is that how its spelled?) rape charges, that is only if some one takes him to court.

South carolina : males have to be 14 and females 16 but I think if he is not 18 yet you are in the clear... you will have to click on your state to find out more info

well its only wrong and illigal if hes an adult and your not but hes 17 so your ok they cant do nothing to him so dont wory about it.
