Why isn't action replay dsi working?

I can't put codes from the computer onto my ds.
Plus the new subscriptions won't load
And how come when I try to manually add the code on the ds add code,
It stops me because the code is too long???

becuase the dsi wont accept the action replay or AR beuase when they made it they made sure it wouldnt work because it isnt licsensed by nintendo but japan made an AR for dsi but its not in usa so if you want it you have to import it and if you need a place to do so try playasia.com
