I don't know if this is normal ... both my boys were pretty calm while feeding but I think that if she is pulling away just gently pull her away from you while she is moving around and calm her with soothing sounds and maybe rub her head with your free hand until she calms down and then start feeding again.
When my first one was very young it was hard to get him to start feeding but if I made sure he was calm before hand, things progressed much more easily.

My baby is driving me crazy with her acrobatics
My baby is driving me crazy with her acrobatics while I am breastfeeding her. She tosses her head all the way back holds postion and the returns to feeding. She does this a couple of times. Is this normal? if not is there a way I can stop it?
