If you're 16 and not done growing yet, it could be your bones growing faster than your muscles (growing pains) which is normal but can make your legs ache. Also, if you spend a lot of time sitting around your legs may get weak or stiff which could cause them to ache sometimes. For that you would need to stretch and probably exercise a little more, if you're out of shape. Or, you could be lacking proper nutrients or water to repair broken muscle fibers that occur when you exercise, from a poor diet or dehydration. If none of these are the case, and the aching gets worse, see your doctor. Hope this helps 
Its either growing pains, dehydration, or not enough potassium. Get up and eat a banana, it will go away
Maybe arthritis seriously my cousin is sixteen and she has arthritis and it aches. Try some bengay or Icy Hot Patches

Do you know why my legs ache? My legs just randomly ache sometimes, can be morning or night? Its not overly painful but it just aches and is uncomfortable. I've heard it's growing pains? I've heard it's dehydration? well I'm not so sure do you know what it could be? I'm 16.
