How can I get my gums to stop swelling from braces?

k well I got braces back in january but my problem is that my gums are just...huge =/ they keep swelling or soemthign is ther anythign I can do ot make them go back down to normal size??? like under the brackets you can only see my gums no teeth...is it normal and is ther a way to fix it?

well, that happend to me, and all you have to do is ask thge orthodontist for wax and wear it until you gums get used to the braces again.

hm yes it is normal..
but not all the time.
do you floss day and night?
if not. thats the problem..or just try to brush longer and make sure you get every area.

Wax! Also ask your orthodontist to bend the pointy things in. That helped me A LOT!
