sit ups. . . At least 20 - 40 a day.
thats going to be tough, my dads 45 and in real good shape, about the same weight. but he couldn't get rid of his gut for anything, so he ended up dropping like 20 pounds and looked real unhealthy, and still didn't get rid of it. so he decided to put the weight back on and accept that he couldn't get rid of it. but ya, sit ups and bycical crunches could might tone it a little but you might not be able to get rid of it
Push-ups help immensely. But you have to do them everyday , that pot belly won't go away overnite. Good luck!
your 'abs' are made in the kitchen not the gym, the muscles are built in the the gym, but to get rid of the belly you have to change your diet to an insanley healthy one, and also eat about 100-200 calories under your RMR each day. and you will be fine and you will see a huge difference after a couple weeks.

Im a 51 year old male in good shape, I weigh 170-175 lbs. My question is, how can I tighten up my belly to loose a small gut..and keep my weight where it is.
