What should I do for my 17th birthday?

Soo...my birthday is Tuesday and here's the thing:

I live about 30 minutes from where my school is (probably about 15 or 20 from the people that are going to the party)...and I'm new to the school (by about 2 months) sooo I don't want to have a dumb party b/c that will create a huge bad impression (and that would suck!!)

At my house I have my dad, his girlfriend, and her kids (5, 7 and 9)....which kinda sucks...but oh well...my house is also on the market we don't want to do anything that's crazy messy....

movie night is out of the question...that's dumb
don't want to do any of these little kid parties that everyone says is sooo fun to revisit at 17 (mainly b/c I don't want to make a bad impression, some people are coming that I don't know)

I have a pretty nice party house...lots of room but nothing cool like a pool table....

my dads also a tight ass so don't how long the guys could say (mabye 2ish??)

I don't really want to plan anything b/c most of the time teens get off topic and it never goes as planned...but then again, if its boring, I want to have something to do...advice?

Try... Seeing how many people can come, and if they would be willing to pitch like $5.00 instead of getting you a gift... Then pull together a reservation of person who can, and obtain moneys... Then rent a humongous time slot of paint ballin'! Or something like that, Invite people.... Send out posters (The koolist of the kool, be a part of the happening party on (Date) 2007 @ (Time) blah blah! Make it happen. Its going to be Awesome!
