16th birthday rave party...!!

Ok so im 16 soon and was thinking of having a rave theme party. just a few question:

is this a good idea?

how would I go about it?

and how to ask ma parents?

have never acctualy been to a rave befor lol...

Rave party is a good idea, if your parents don't let u, you should have at 1 of your mates houses or a park, usually I have party's in my shed my mum dosn't care, it's sik.

its a pretty good idea
themed parties are usually always good
(unless its little teenagers having a pimps and hos party in there lingerie or something of course)
raves usually have electro and dance music somwetimes with a dicso ball, lots of colourful spinning lights and of course glow sticks and glow in the dark accessories
so all thats good
you can even just google rave and look it up for more ideas
ask your parents but you need to make a compromise with them
you probably cant just expect them to go out for a while and throw a party
youll need an adault there so if something were to go wrong
(gatecreashers, passing out from drinking, fainting, getting hurt, ect) they can help, take charge and call the correct authorities
make sure if its in the house that only a couple of people go
probably less than 20
otherwise youll need more than 1 responible person looking out for these teens
so just ask your parents that youd like to throw one, then say youd like there help
because if there involved with it there more likely to allow it
