What if I could be pregnant but don't want to give this up?

Im 16 years old and could be pregnant. Me And My Boyfriend Tyler want to be but we dont want to because he doesnt want to give up football and next year he'll be a senior and I dont want to give up cheerleading. We are not ready to give up our social lives and not ready to give high school football fridays just yet. we'll be senior's in high school next year. and not ready to give this up just yet what should we do. and ABORTION IS NOT AN ALTERNAITVE.

First of all, find out if you are indeed pregnant.

I think you already know that sacrifices will have to be made if you want to keep the baby. Both of you will probably need jobs and that means no time for cheerleading and football. (sure, they're fun but they won't pay the bills. Can't have your cake and eat it too.)

You can choose adoption but you still will have to carry a baby to term.

The possibility of pregnancy is the responsibility you take on when you decide to have sex without contraception.

If you AREN'T pregnant then you need to take this as a lesson and be responsible enough to get on a reliable form of birth control and play it smart. (which you can also contact planned parenthood for.)

It one or the other unless you have a family member who would look after it whilst you are at school

Thats a hard one. I think you could still have your baby and continue School but you will have to work out who will look after your baby when your at School e.g Childcare or parents. I think if you really want both (baby and continue to be a Cheerleader) it can work but you got to put the work in!

Thanks For All Of Your Advice But Me And Tyler Went To The Doctor And We're Not going to Have A Baby. It Was A Little Upsetting At First Because We Actually Started Looking Forward To Having A Baby But Then We Realized A Baby Wasnt Right For Us Right Now. We Decided To Use Our Heads A Lot More And Not Be Stupid For Once In Our Lives.
