13yr.old stepdaughter wants to live with her father and myself

my husbands 13yr.old daughter no longer wants to live with her mother she wants to live with us we intend to sue for custody but she doesn’t want to wait until its done and over she wants to live with us now she is always fighting with her mother and never wants to go home when she is with us

It seems as if the mother is doing something that is really upseting her or something that is making her scared. I would talk to her and have her what is going on whit her mother at home. Me as a 14 year old have been trough things that sometimes make me scae and I just make disitions and nobody knows why but there is always a problem deep beneeth the layers. And also if the costody hasent been placed she can be whit who evr she likes, the choice iss hers when it comes to that, but if the mother has the costody then shes going to have to wait till the court rules. But also if something is going on whit her mother then she can go live whit her dad, she just has to report what is going on. GOOD LUCK! :)

I was in the same problem I lived with my drug attic mom that beat me and my sisters.but she realy just has to wait please let her come to you! let her stay the night a lot untill you get costody!in nevada when you are 12 you can choose the parent you live with mabey there is some law like that were you are!

will it seem that her momsz doin sumthing 2 her and if she is you need 2 take her out of that house

Does her mother currently have custody? If so, there’s no option - she has to wait for the court ruling.

However, if no custody order is in place, she can live with her father if she chooses.
