The chain-thing is probably too long. It’s hard to explain, but it happened to my toilet too. My dad changed the handle and shortened the chain.
That part works, it will flush but it won’t refill the tank
It’s weird, I wish I could explain what I meant better. Maybe the plug doesnt seal good enough?
Yeah im not sure, it was working just fine and then wham it stopped working. I will find out soon, I called my landlord and he is gonna come check it out
Is there water coming in? If not then it’s the fill valve. Push down on the float and see if it starts filling. There is an adjustment on them.
