Is it wrong to be jealous of a family member's time or is that considered a sin by being jealous?

Answer #1

what do you mean by time?

Answer #2

Jealousy is a normal human emotion and we all feel it from time to time, if your religion considers something that cant be helped and is a normal human emotion a sin, maybe its time to look into other religions.

Answer #3

time spent with them instead of their spending time with other people.

Answer #4

no, but we should be content. we will always get jealous from time to time but we should try to be content with what God has given us.

Answer #5

Then why did God create jealousy? I mean we do believe God created everything right?

Answer #6

no. God did not create the sins of the world. He did give us free choice. Satan created the evils of this world. sometimes though, i think he(satan) just might stand back and see us sin and say “huh, i never thought of that one” because this world has become so perverted.

Answer #7

But God created Satan. Knowing what Satan would do. Because God is all knowing. Thus God created sin.

Answer #8

I agree with Ty.

Answer #9

actually no. God is all-knowing. He did create Satan. HOWEVER, when God created Him, he was the archangel. I believe he had free will as well as the humans. He decided he was better than God and rebelled.

If you knew that when you had kids, they would rebell against you, would you still have kids? Of course you would. Same with God. He loves you and me and everyone else and He knew we would sins so He made a redemption plan. That plan was carried out through Jesus His son, come to earth in the form of a man, crucified and raised from the dead for the forgiveness of our sins and now we can receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. God did not create sin, but He knew it would happen, so He created a plan of redemption so we could spend eternity with Him.

Answer #10

If i knew a kid would cause that much suffering to others, no. i wouldnt. apparently i have more compassion than your god.

Answer #11

i dont understand. if you knew your kid would rebell, you wouldnt ever have any kids or do anything that might possibly result in kids (which is any sex “protected” or not)
