Is it wrong for a 13-year-old girl old to like an 11-year-old guy?

I don’t necessarily think that it is wrong, but I do personally find it a little strange given the fact that eleven-year old boys are generally really immature.

Wrong no. I mean kids have celebrity crushes on celebrities much older. We like who we like. But at that age, it really should just stay a crush and shouldn’t progress to something like a relationship.

The general rule of thumb is 1 year up or 1 year down if you are under 18. There is a vast difference when there is two or more years between people who are interested in dating each other. Legally, that is also the criteria. Once you reach 18, you will need to talk to someone about the legal ramifications of dating someone younger than you. In my state, the age of consent is 17 so, for an 18 year old, that would be appropriate. But still, dating a 16 year old or younger would not be. And then, besides what’s legally appropriate, there’s also what’s socially appropriate. But I prefer to abide by the legal definition. After 18, the choice is yours, upwardly speaking.
