Woke up in the same bed as a guy I have known for 20 years... help

on new years eve I went to a party with a family friend who I have been friends with/ known for 20 years. he actually used to babysit me when I was little but anyway. I drank way to much got sick. I couldnt drive home so I stayed the night at his place. well I woke up the next morning in the same bed as him and we were snuggling!! we didnt do anything but OMG it was so awkward. but anyways I cant stop thinking about that part of me thinks its just strange and awkward but this little part of me wants to see him again and not just as friends ( if you know what I mean) this guy is NOT related to me but were like family. I dont know what to do. its just been bothering me since new years. what do you think I should do?

I’ve let drunk girls sleep in my bed with me and not done anything other than sleep. Why sleep on the floor if there’s room for 2, right? but if you’ve known him/been friends with him for that long, no point in risking changing that now. I say tell him thank you for being a gentleman and leave it at that.

listen to your heart it will tell you what to do. and just cause you slept in the same bed doesnt mean anything. so dont worri about it,

I think pinkdancer has some good advice, beat around the bush about it and see what he says or how he acts about it. if you’ve known him for that long you should be comfortable with talking to him.

im only 17 but I think you should talk to him. I can understand it being awkward but who knows, maybe he is feeling the exact same way right now. youll never know unless you go for it. so maybe just bring up how funny that night was and thank him for letting you stay there. maybe even kinda joke around saying you should do it again sometime! if he avoids the topic or acts weird then he mite not be feeling like you are. but if he laughs and agrees or shows he is interested maybe he is. or you could flat out tell him that it was a little awkward but you cant stop thinking about it in a good way. I dont know for sure what to say cause im younger but I think whatever happens you should talk to him.
