Will being separated for so long with no conversations affect us?

Me and my ex been broken up for about 4 months but for the last 2 months he decided that he wants to learn to trust me more because he got very hurt when I started hangin out w. My guy friends more often and paid less attention to him…but I started givin him all my attention again

Anywayz things were going pretty good for a while because he kept sayin ill ask you out when im ready and I can trust you..we talk a lot because he says he’ll remember all the bad stuff and get over me if we dont…

But he was forced to go on vacation w. His fam. For 17 days…its been a week and im gettin really scared because he was sayin he’d call me when he gets to spain even though his cell phones dead…

Its been a week and still no call, im really scared because I just love him so much and if he really wanted he could use his moms cell phone, he has done it before when his phone died (but then again his moms strict)…

Will he rethink things over and decide he doesnt want to be with me anymore? We’ve never went more than 3 days w.o talkin…and now we’re going 17…will he lose some feelins? Why isn’t he even trying to send me just 1 text? Hes been wantin space for a while and now he finally got it but what if he comes back changin his mind about us? Ill be completely heartbroken…please help
