why is my boyfriend of 3yrs an ass?

My boyfriend and I have been seeing each other for 3 years, we have lived together for 2.5 years. we are practically married!!! One day he is a sweetheart the next I want to beat him with a frying pan. What is going on??? Our relationship has had its bad times but now everything he does bugs me so much. Is this going anywhere?? I cook,clean and take responsibility for the whole package even his kids. Sometimes I feel he doesnt appreciate me!!! Is this over or am I overreacting?? HELP!!!
